Jonathan Earley

A Bit About Me

     I was born in Iwakuni, Japan, in 1976. Since my family served in the Marine Corps, we moved to different countries every few years. That constant movement taught me how to quickly adjust, understand new situations, and find stability in structure. These are the lessons that have shaped how I think, how I lead, and how I serve. I graduated from high school in Okinawa, where I learned martial arts and the discipline, focus, and deliberate practice that still guide me. In 1996, I left Boise, Idaho, to go on a two-year religious mission to Argentina. In 1998, I returned to San Antonio, Texas. Those years made me stronger, showed me new cultures, and made me more dedicated to work and service that has a purpose.

     In May 2000, I married my wife. We have six kids together. They provide me a sense of stability, motivation, and perspective that changes how I act in every part of my life. In 2002, I began my career in technology, helping clients use and support their software. That first job led to a long and varied career in Quality Assurance, where I learned how to make systems stronger, reduce uncertainty, and set up processes that can grow. This year, I made that career leap official by starting Darkstone Enterprises, which is based on the Six Pillar Strategy of Quality. I developed this strategy after observing numerous instances where development designs failed to meet quality standards. This is designed to fill those gaps, incorporating the successes within it also.

     I am focused on securing my Master's in Business Analytics and an MBA in Leadership. While helping me build on my experience, filling in some foundational areas, this will lend weight and authority to my work. My work is an extension of where I come from: a life shaped by movement, grounded by structure, and driven by the belief that when you design quality with purpose, you make it possible for people and ideas to rise.
